WHO ARE UNITED WORLD SCHOOLS
United World Schools works in collaboration with communities to provide everything a child needs to access an education. We work in some of the world’s poorest and most remote regions, to give every child access to free education, no matter their background.
Working with sustainability in mind, we ensure that once established, the schools are there to serve the community for many decades to come. United World Schools have already reached over 30,000 out of school children across Cambodia, Myanmar and Nepal through exciting and inspiring partnerships that join us on our journey to teach the unreached.
OPATRA AND UNITED WORLD SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP
Opatra have partnered with United World Schools to provide an education to children living in remote and marginalised communities in Cambodia, Myanmar and Nepal, who have no access to an education. Opatra's support will provide the resources, teachers and training to ensure children learn in a safe and inspiring environment. In addition to this, Opatra will also contribute to the support of a United World School's Education Officer. They are at the frontline of the education delivery model, promoting education quality across all UWS schools and the embedment of the schools into the local communities.
By supporting children to learn to read, write and count in their national language opens the doors to a whole world of opportunity. Education empowers children through the opportunity it brings and acts as a catalyst to change, strengthening their families and communities.
